When you’re new to decorating cupcakes, making that perfect swirl using a pipe can be difficult. However, with practice, you’ll find that piping frosting is actually pretty easy. Best advice: Don’t think too much while doing it – be confident. Oh and also, make sure your buttercream and/or frosting is at a perfect consistency. How to check? Scoop with a spatula – if it doesn’t slide off; it’s ready! You don’t want it to be too soft, otherwise it melts as soon as you pipe.
